Catherine Arley Holo Goodness

Quite awhile back I did a fun swap in which I got a few Catherine Arley holographic polishes.  I realized a few weeks back that for some reason or another, I had never gotten around to wearing any of them!  As that was just totally not acceptable, I picked one out right away.

Outdoors, sun
This is Catherine Arley 675, a warm medium pink with scattered holographic effect.  While the holo in this isn't as strong as in some of my other holographic polishes it is still very pretty and seems to glow from within!  This was three thin coats, with a top coat.  People always say not to use top coat with holos, but I always do anyway - I feel like it only diminishes the effect ever so slightly, and it protects the manicure... :)

Outdoors, sun
Outdoors, shade
This is really pretty in the shade as well - even if it loses the holo glow, it maintains the look of silver microglitter throughout.  I was very pleased with my first Catherine Arley experience and am now super excited to try out the other two I got in that swap.  So many polishes to wear, so little time...

  1. I love it! I almost closed out google reader and then saw "holo goodness" and had to check out this post! Great color - I like that it's a soft holo and not overwhelming. It looks great on you!
